What was the weather when you left NY for Culebra?
Hahaha. It was 11 degrees! COLD! Snow! We were wearing jeans & anticipating the next storm due the next day.
Why did you come to Culebra?
For the sun and fun. We were looking for a bit more of a “rough” destination than an all-inclusive. Simple, low-key with lots of beaches, lots of sun and no pressure.
What was the best part of your trip?
The friendliness of the people and their willingness to sit and talk.

I was so glad to see you feature this interesting couple. I had the
pleasure of talking to them after dinner one night into the wee
hours of the morning.
Apparently “dressing against type” I guessed Joe was a baker or
fireman, he just looked like one of those good guys that people liked to hug.
He is that friendly and down to earth but he’s actually an accountant and focuses on small businesses generally.
Maybeth Ryan is a veteran stage actress and has appeared in many
Broadway and off broadway shows. She also does voice overs and
commercial voice work, and she does in fact have one of those
voices you could listen to all night. Culebra attracts the most interesting people. It was a real pleasure meeting them.
