Culebra Shopping & Markets
A couple of times a week here at the Palmetto Guesthouse we seem to get an email asking about grocery shopping and markets here on Culebra.
While in Culebra you can find most any item. The two main grocery stores in town (Milka’s & Mayra’s) stock all of the basics and then some. You can find cleaning products to canned goods to wine, beer, and spirits (Milka’s or El Eden) to frozen meats and fish. Each market also has a limited selection of fruits and vegetables available during the week and then on Fridays there is a farmer’s market on the corner by the airport and Carlos’ Jeep with a wide array of produce.

Hi. We will be staying on Culebra for 10 days and want to take a trip (overnight) to Vieques to the illuminenscent beach. What is the best way to get there and back and any recommendations for a place to stay.
