Zoni, IMHO, is the best beach we’ve ever been to in ten years of snorkeling 20+ islands, and we are snorkel snobs. It has the best combination of a scenic beach to hang out on, yet with wonderful snorkeling and no crowds.
Culebra has five wonderful beaches, each with a great reef, live coral and lots of life–fish, rays, turtles, lobsters … and little islands nearby with great beaches and reefs as well.
It’s a small island, with only 10,000 people, laid back and with minimal, if any, crime. It has a great guest house (PGH!) and plenty of nice restaurants, etc. We rented a jeep, borrowed a cooler from PGH, took our snorkel gear and were in heaven. We will go back.
I had to LOL over the pic of me and the sandwich. With tongue in cheek I sent the picture to Mark at PGH, suggesting he inform other people about it. The Dinghy Dock definitely was a great place to eat.
