Zoni, IMHO, is the best beach we've ever been to in ten years of snorkeling 20+ islands, and we are snorkel snobs. It has the best combination of a scenic beach to hang out on, yet with wonderful snorkeling and no crowds.

Culebra has five wonderful beaches, each with a great reef, live coral and lots of life--fish, rays, turtles, lobsters ... and little islands nearby with great beaches and reefs as well.

It's a small island, with only 10,000 people, laid back and with minimal, if any, crime. It has a great guest house (PGH!) and plenty of nice restaurants, etc. We rented a jeep, borrowed a cooler from PGH, took our snorkel gear and were in heaven. We will go back.

I had to LOL over the pic of me and the sandwich. With tongue in cheek I sent the picture to Mark at PGH, suggesting he inform other people about it. The Dinghy Dock definitely was a great place to eat.

I was not impressed with the trash on the beach and it was scary hiking down there with the big nests, large holes in the ground, and bones lying around. We got pretty scratched up by the brush and lost the trail once. The beach is beautiful and wild but the trash was disgusting.

I thought Zoni beach was incredible.
