Beautiful Leatherback Sea Turtle on Flamenco Beach
While out for my morning run on Culebra today I came across a massive female leatherback sea turtle heading back to the ocean after she laid her eggs. They are an endangered species and typically lay their eggs at night, so it was certainly a rare sighting!!

Culebra rescue puppies
Someone recently dumped eleven puppies on the road heading towards Zoni Beach.
They have all been checked out by the vet in Fajardo and are healthy & happy. If you would like to adopt one of these little guys, please call Terrie at the Palmetto Guesthouse. Or if you would like to make a financial contribution towards their care you can donate to Animal Welfare of Culebra.

Went for an afternoon swim and caught the sun starting to set at Zoni beach here on Culebra, Puerto Rico.
